One postdoctoral fellow position is available in Ertas Lab. Applicant is expected to have an excellent track record with strong expertise and experimental background in at least one and preferably multiple areas including Micro/Nano Fabrication, MEMS/BioMEMS, Microfluidics, Nanoparticle Synthesis, Plasmonics, Drug Delivery, Biomaterials, Polymer Chemistry, Tissue Engineering and Nano-Bio Interface. The qualified candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a closely related discipline. The ideal applicant must be highly motivated, open-minded, creative, energetic and have an interest in translating novel technologies into physical products. MS and Ph.D. graduate student positions are available in Ertas Lab. Applicants are expected to conduct research projects in the area of plasmonics, micro/nano fabrication, magnetic nanoparticles, nanoparticle synthesis, hydrogels, 3d-bioprinting, biomaterials, microneedle based nanoparticle/drug delivery. The competitive candidates must be highly motivated, creative, open-minded and have excellent academic achievements in a major field of Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or a closely related discipline.
